JK I'm not dead. And I'm still working on Chapter 14, which is about 7 pages long at this point. Not much, but it's good stuff if I do say so myself. ;) Chipping away at a lot of emotion, which takes me much longer than an action scene. :giggle:

What kind of dog is Ishmael? Whenever I think of him I see this big black thing that's all fuzzed out because I don't know what he's meant to look like and I don't want ot get it wrong. ._.

He would probably look most like a black lab/ newfoundland mix, with some other breeds tossed in for good measure. But certainly not fuzzy, just furry and maybe fluffy if he's just had a bath. ;)

No, I mean fuzzy like when they want to hide someone's face on TV or something, and they blur it out. Some of the other characters are still fuzzy too, but I don't care about them.

Which ones? I always like to add more depth to the minor characters, because they have so much to offer... I just never know how much to tell you guys about them, because too much would make them major characters and then we'd just have a gigantic cast of detailed characters. So I guess I err on the fuzzy side...

Random people on the ship who don't ever come into the story but I know they're there. That barmaid girl. But if I figure you may as well not bother with explaining all the little people who don't play a big part because I can't even remember the old cook's name. >_>

"Hiding in Plain Sight" is really amazing. It's easy to follow and has the best characterization in any fanfic i've ever read. It could be it's own freakin' BOOK, dude! :] awesome job, and thank you for your time and effort on such a wonderful piece. I'm very much looking forward to the rest of it! Treasure Planet has a very special place in my heart; I think Jim was my first love before I even knew what that meant. I was about 10 or 11 when the move came out lol anyway, you rock dude. i'm watchin you now, hope you don't mind! <3
