8. I am 20 years old, and some days that feels like middle age. I work four jobs and average about 35 hours a week, which leaves me grumpy even though my mom says I have no right to be grumpy because she works more and I have good jobs. (Two of them are lifeguarding ). Whatever, Mom.

7. I drink Diet Coke like some people drink water. Or alcohol. I'm a Diet-Coke-aholic. Ridiculous. I love it.

6. I am quite possibly a celiac, to some degree, though I think I'm merely allergic to wheat, and not even severely. But that means no sammiches. :'(

5. I think in scenes. When I write a chapter of Hiding in Plain Sight (I kid you not) I watch it first. In my head. With lighting and camera angles and everything. I even put in 'fade to black' sometimes. So then it's a lot easier to write the descriptive scene, because I'm just novelizing the movie in my head. And, I'm never not watching that movie in my head. I seriously use every free moment to work out the logistics of each scene, and to write and rewrite every scene six or eight times.

4. Everybody thinks my eyes are a different color. I just say I have hazel eyes, because they have blue, brown, green and grey in them. I've gotten a lot of different responses from people, depending on how I do my makeup and what I'm wearing.

3. I have no idea at the moment what I'm going to do with my life. It would be sweet if I could just make a call and set myself up as an author, but you need a secondary plan besides that... I was in school for accounting but that sucked my soul out so I'm spending this summer trying to pick a degree I can finish in two or three years, and possibly pick a new school. ::sigh:: It's been a rough summer.

2. I love my family. And by that I mean my extended family. I'm one of sixteen grandkids on my mom's side, and I absolutely ADORE family reunions, because where else can you find 27 people with the same sense of humor... especially when no one outside the 27 really gets it?!? I absolutely live for our week-long summer vacation, which this year is the first week of August.

1. I'm a total tune-head. I'm addicted to music, but it's never what everyone else is listening to. I won't let other people play my iPod because I'm scared of what they'll say about my music.

Chapter 13 is with my beta! We'll see how that turns out, but as of now it's 38 pages (that's inclusive of the 16 I already published. ) Thanks for the patience, and I hope to be able to update really soon!
